Every step of life is a walk in Faith. Life presents difficulties every day in everyone’s lives. A crisis of unbelievable magnitude such as a life and death decision, it might be financial devastation; it might be losing a loved one, or facing a life changing illness. Imaging being told by a doctor that they recommend you terminate your unborn child because of physical abnormalities. Or have the doctor tell you that you have a terminal disease with only months to live.  These words are devastating to hear, even if you are a faithful believer. As a believer in a relationship with your Lord, you can find peace in any situation. Our peace in him is our inner treasure, a gift from him.

God’s promise is that he is with us always. In Genesis 28:15 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done all I have promised you.  God is fully committed to us all the time, even when we are not fully committed to him. In Isaiah 54:10 “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

No matter what life throws our way…GOD IS WITH US ALWAYS. Even when we are angry with GOD for our circumstances, he is faithful; he is steadfast in his love for us. When you are feeling overwhelmed, afraid, uncertain, filled with doubt, I encourage you; Be still, hear HIS voice. His peace and his love are there for you.

Lord, Surround us with your peace today and every day. Provide the spiritual recharge that we need to continue our faithful walk with you. Let our hearts, minds and bodies be filled with the assurance of your love, your mercy, your grace and your peace. Let us experience your GLORY. In the mighty name of JESUS…..AMEN.
